Hemmingbo
Hemmingbo
The Hemmingbo original was printed on rag paper and was found in Västmanland. The house in which it was found has been dated to the second half of the 18th century. The combination of angled squares with a small flower was one of the most prized designs of the Rococo period. The donor of the wallpaper has told us that the owner of the farm bought the wallpaper from a wallpaper maker in Stockholm in the late 18th century. Something that certainly did not go unnoticed in the village. The original wallpaper is also in the same style as the wallpaper that still exists in Drottningholm Palace Theatre.
