By the end of the 19th century, increasingly sophisticated printing technology made it possible to produce copies of various textile materials and patterns in wallpaper printing. This wallpaper from the Beta farm in Åtvid in Östergötland is a good example of this. It imitates a tapestry weave with a naturalistic foliage design.
